Dominica v Barbados

Dominca ranked 188th in FIFA rankings, Barbados 142nd. The last meeting between these two ended in a 5-0 win for Barbados, that was back in 2006.

Recently, Dominica have gone on something of a recruitment mission, picking up eight players of Dominican descent from the United States, Canadain and English football leagues. These include Havant & Waterlooville striker Richard Pacquette, Ryan Edgar and Daniel Leslie-Francis, both of Canvey Island. The new look Dominican team has spent the past two weeks preparing eagerly for this match and reports have been positive regarding the new set-up.

Barbados are likely to be a little match rusty, having played just one friendly game together in the last nine months. They're also missing their English based trio of Paul Ifill, Mark McCammon and Louie Soares, three important players in the Barbados team.

Dominica are worth an interest at the odds available. A new look team is supposedly gelling quite well, while in previous campaigns Dominica have faired quite well at home. Barbados are missing arguably their three most important players.

Dominica to beat Barbados @ 5.75 (BWin) - 1 point
Dominica/Draw Double Chance @ 2.25 (BWin) - 3 points
