I have absolutely no stats to back this up but it's my perception that Novice Maiden races are usaully won by the fav, although the prices usually prohibit the option of just backing them blind.
However, King Malachi in the 220 at Brighton looks well worth taking the 1.94 at Betfair to me. I usually deal in bigger odds than this but I'm not going to resist this one. |

Got to be worth a shout Winrew. Good trainer, good jockey, joint top rated in racing post and I'm guessing it will go off at about 16 or 20 to one. The big downside (and probably the reason that the price is so big, is that it's got a shit draw. Drawn 14, whereas the low stalls are supposed to have the advantage in this race.
