Bath 2.45 Infinite Hope 1 pt E/W @ 14/1

I've got concerns on two counts regarding this pick. I thought he showed improved form lto with cp's on, but are not today and the jockey seems to be in the doldrums.

However, the ground looks to be coming just right for him and this looks his ideal trip. He's done nothing 1n ten runs since coming over from Italy but looks worth a punt, off 48 in a poor looking race, were the fav looks opposable.

York Glory 2 pts win @ 8.6 ( Lay 4 pts back IR @ 1.23)

This looks to run at a furious pace with Verinco, Lexi's Hero, Zero Money, Swiss Dream and Favourite Girl all pushing for the lead.

My feeling is Verinco can burn them all off judging by the blistering pace he showed last week when setting the race up for Internationaldebut. The concern is this is a drop from 6 to 5.5f and ideally 5f looks perfect, but the apprentice has had a knack of letting a few of his mounts go off too fast ( when I back them) and maybe that's the reasoning behind replacing him with a pro jock. I'd have personally preferred the 7lb claimer have another go, but I still feel this should a trading position at the least.

With so much pace on, the race should be set up perfectly for York Glory. He's an improving type who sits at the back and comes late. He will neeed to tuck in but I really don't think that a problem. It will be interesting to see what baker does on Below Zero, drawn far side, but I don't think thats an ideal pitch in this kind of race.

Chester 5.15 Gemma's Delight 1 pt win ( lay back IR @ 2.12)

The front two in the market will probably win this but Gemma's Delight, although moody, raises her game when running here. Terrible draw and an all time high h/cap mark, but there are two n/rs and this kind of race suits her style
