Did not have much time for anything yesterday, but did see the big Goodwood races and was suitably impressed with Frankel. Plenty of bets today, but don't fancy anything strongly. Will be playing EW with the following :-

1:50 Galway - CAPTAIN DASH - Very interesting jockey booking in leading amateur Derek O'Connor and just hope I am not reading too much into this. Last 2 runs have been too bad to be true and hoping that this was the target. Anshan is a much under - rated sire IMO and this one is also out of a Phardante mare.

4:40 Nottingham - NUBIAN GEM - Way too green on debut to do herself justice and should know a lot more this time. Big fan of the owner / trainer combination and this one has enough in her pedigree to suggest she could be quite decent.

5:50 Ffos Las - NIGHT ANGEL - Poor LTO, but before that pretty decent. Her pair of seconds in maiden company read quite well. Immediately eased in the weights and a real chance on her best form.

6:05 Galway - MARE OF MILAN - Been a few weeks without the " Milan in a bumper system " and as always very hard to ignore them. Dam was unraced, but is related to several smart flat performers in France. This one has shown a fair level of form in points and won on her racecourse debut, so goes well fresh. A number of these do hold solid bumper form, so it will be a tough ask, but happy to chance it at 33's.

Going with a few in the Goodwood big field handicap's :-

3:15 Goodwood - LOST IN THE MOMENT - Massive chance on form, but a real question mark as to if he stays. Happy to take the chance that he will.

4:20 Goodwood - ESTEDAAMA - Nicely bred sort, top class owner / trainer combiation and a decent chance, if fully wound up.

4:55 Goodwood - KING OF JAZZ - Decent 7f horse IMO and does hold plenty of form in big field handicap's. Arguably his 2 worst efforts have come in 4 runner races and happy to ignore those.

3:35 Galway - ACT OF LOVE - Solid enough chance in a very competitive race,
