Weird day yesterday, with a NR, 2nd, 4th and 5th. All 3 ran OK and getting beat by an unraced 40/1 shot is something you can't allow for. Did not get back on for the evening, so did not tip Ed McMahon's second 2yo of the day and this one did the job nicely. Sticking with the McMahon stable today and also having a few other bets, all of which are on the flat :-

3:10 Goodwood - LIBRANNO - Comes out well on the official ratings and is in good heart at the moment. Not disgraced LTO, in better company and steps back up in trip today. May need to improve again to beat his stablemate STRONG SUIT, but certainly no forlorn hope to do so.

4:30 Beverley - VITALICIOUS - Nicely bred Ed McMahon juvenile and happy to go with this one.

6:05 Beverley - ROWAN LODGE - Goes well here and showed a bit more LTO. Back to his last winning mark and has won off of higher. No problem with conditions and ( on limited evidence ) I do like the look of the young jockey.

7:15 Galway - FOOLISH LADY - Been with this one on both starts so far and has shown some ability. Will need to improve for the step up in trip, but I think this is exactly what she needs.

Been with all 3 this year, so happy to chance a forecast / tricast bet. Fancied SV, last time out ( NR ) and always thought her a decent sort. Been with the other 2 quite a lot as well and all are very capable.

Been with JOUSTER, on all starts so far and definitely has ability. SWEET RHYTHM, made a pleasing debut and there should be more to come. Win bet on Jouster and a reverse forecast on the pair.

Viva Vettori's jock either had no balls or was very tender as he looked to looking for trouble. Race over when he got clear, even though I thought he had plenty of gaps.
