Re: ATR
The only think that occurs to me Seen is that I read a
piece yesterday saying that there was a big change in transmitter shit yesterday and some were turned off last night or something. Probably nothing to do with it but worth consideration just in case it's not a big plot against you |

Re: ATR
I actually had a few punts on the horses today and was watching ATR, now i know why the odds looked out of place in running. 6 seconds ffs.
ATR did mention that a William Hill shop had recieved a 120K cash bet on the favourite in the 6.15 at Leicester tonight, Pearl Blue is 11/10 at present, you've just over 10 mins if you want to Back or Lay it |

Re: ATR
It's a fucking joke, man. The internet streams are almost 3 seconds ahead of ATR - how the fuck can internet pics which come down a fucking phone line be so much quicker than Sky?
It will only result in a drop in liquidity when everyone realises how far behind they are (and how their in-running bets only get matched when they are wrong), leaving the track players to play amongst themselves, desperately trying to be first in line to snap up the 1.01-1.03 after the winner has crossed the line. |

Re: ATR
Jesus Christ, how far behind today, way more than 6 seconds. They were just passed the 2F pole when betting was suspended in the 2.45 Yarmouth

Re: ATR
At around 3.5 secs behind, it was previously just about manageable for those who can read a race well (and have quick fingers), now it's simply IMPOSSIBLE.
There is simply NO WAY that after years of the same amount of delay that it is just a coincidence that on the very same day the monster PC comes in to play that the delay is stretched to 6 seconds (that's 3/4 of a fucking furlong). I'm sure the fact that SIS own ATR, and the SIS home users (who pay £10K a year for the service) will now enjoy an even bigger advantage than before, has nothing to do with it ![]() Liquidity is down as in-running players leave, how is this good for anyone? |

Re: ATR
They have been inundated by BF users.....and guess what?
They refuse to discuss the matter. They previously have said the delay was down to achieving better picture quality - since the added delay on Monday the pictures are no better. It's all about money and no doubt backhanders will have been dished out. |

Re: ATR
Kin ell. Well, as long as you can count each individual hair. That's the most important thing. Picture quality indeed. Haha. Great stuff. And I'm no techy but how in the name of non-offensive swear words would improved picture quality create a longer delay? ![]() |

Re: ATR
The bottom line is that ATR is owned by SIS - and while they sell their pictures to home users for £10K a year, the free ATR pictures are always going to be behind. You get what you pay for which is fair enough.
But this extended delay is just taking the piss, and what's pissing people off is the way the ATR presenters mention in-running prices as if they are relevant to everyone, which they clearly are not. It's bad enough Betfair using SIS pictures (2.8s behind live) to turn the race in to in-play (which allows the track players to lay slow starters etc in the pre-race market) and to suspend at the end (which allows the track players to back horses which have already won/placed). No wonder the in-running boxes at the racecourses are overflowing. ATR - AT THE RACES After The Races, more like. |
