Re: Sun 17th Jul
Good Luck with that one Wively. I had my win out of this one a few weeks ago but have never really been sure what to make of her. No nearer now than ever to working her out and he may be one that wins in her turn. One win and one place yesterday ( both at 12's ) and looking to follow up with these :-
2:40 Curragh - FULBRIGHT - Not his best LTO, but his Epsom win reads quite well. I don't think he is that far behind the top 2 in the betting and the top priced 6's looks too big IMO. 3:10 Curragh - ASHEERAH - Just the one win to her name, but had only one bad run from 8 attempts. Return to softer ground will help and won't mind even more rain. Bit to find at the weights, but has her regular jockey on board and I feel there is still more to come. 5:20 Curragh - CHEERS BUDDY - Well above his last winning mark, but only beaten just under 4l, off 86, so should be competitive off 82. First try over 10f and hopeful that this can bring about improvement. 5:15 Redcar - LADY EXCEL - A couple of her early season runs, suggested her 2nd carrer win was not far away. Has stallled a bit since then, but is at least edging down the weights as a result. Poor LTO, but the drop back to 7f, was never going to be the answer. Only beaten 4l on her last visit here and whilst I have been burnt too often to be optimistic, I know there is a win in her somewhere. 4:35 Newton Abbot - CAVERLEIGH COURT - Showed up for a long way on debut, although was easily brushed aside in the end. Should come on a ton for that run and cannot write him off just yet. By top NH sire Presenting and the dam won her bumper. Massive longshot, but just too big IMO at 80's. |

Re: Sun 17th Jul
guys,
two 2nd's and a loser yesterday from my three selections, frustrating to say the least. hopeful with these three today: redcar205 ASATIR well bred newcomer in a race that shouldn't take a lot of winning and hails from a stable that tends to do well with its 2yo's curragh345 BLUE BUNTING looking to put a disappointing run lto behind. things didn't go to plan that day and id be hopeful that it can finish better today off a stronger pace. looks value against the jolly. redcar545 HARVEYS HOPE has ran well the last two runs finishing 2nd on both occasions and looks sure to go well once again. is definately on a winning mark and can give its trainer a winner on his local track. |

LADY EXCEL, also ran well for her 2nd @ 10's. Again though, she was never getting to the winner CHEERS BUDDY, led for a long was, but got headed with around 100yds to go. Did hang on for 3rd though at 14's. Not much to say about the other two, though neither was their true running. |
