A quick repost in case you didn't read yesterday's racing thread about Fallon and the last two races of the night.

A quick look going back to 15th of June, I make him about £160 up for £10 stakes for the last two rides at the evening meetings. That's a hell of a record.

Did not fancy a lot yesterday, but escaped with a place at 16's. Bit more of interest today and going with the following :-

2:20 Doncaster - ODDYSEY - Lots of decent looking newcomers in this race, but this one does seem to have been under - estimated. Bred to make an impact and the stable going well with their 2yo's, though do need a change of luck ( only 1 from 11, but 5 x 2nd's and 3 x 3rd's ) Hard to be too bullish FTO, but no surprise to me if she runs well.

2:50 Folkestone - MR KNIGHTLEY - This is Strategic Prince's first lot of 2yo's and I do expect them to come into thier own over the longer trips. Will need to improve for his debut, but no forlorn hope to do so.

8:00 Curragh - JOUSTER - Been with this one on all runs so far and based on his debut 3rd, looked a certain winner. Not really panned out for him since, but still young enough to improve and the stable remains in decent nick.

9:00 Newcastle - CRYSTALLUS - Run of 2nd's is a tad worrying, but does not seem to have done a lot wrong and the form of all of these races is solid. By Diamond Green, so hopeful that the soft ground will suit and may even bring about improvement.

Off to Chester but keeping the stakes small. Koukash's runners always worth a look at the track but trying to sort them out is tough.

IF is out of form and the market is probably right, but the ground should aid this horse and the price could be juicy on the basis that he goes down 5lb tomorrow. There are no future entries, so no chance of him bouncing out tomorrow.

Layla's Hero is anothe well treated and should love the ground.

9.10 Newmarket
An interesting comment from the R Post regarding the fav Lucky Art - apparantly she's a very poor traveller, and that is backed up by the fact that she has never raced at a track too far away from her Yorkshire base (Nottingham/Southwell the furthest) or from her previous yard in Durham. Newmarket is a good 3 hour drive for her so she really needs to be taken on - also she seems to prefer an easy 5f, this is a stiff track with a strong pace likely.
I'm in agreement with ODM (not sure if that's a good thing or not ) and think Taurus Twins is a decent bet. His last 4 runs show 2612 but he was badly drawn on all three defeats yet ran a blinder each time, so could easily have won his last 4 starts. The useful Harry Bentley takes off 5lbs and although he will have company for the lead, he is in such strong form at the moment he should be able to burn them off.
The rain is in his favour and looks sure to trade shorter in-running.

Got murdered, although was under pressure at the time. Did run on again but would have been placed at best. Fav well beaten.
