Winner and 2 places yesterday, so a bit better. Tough again today, but going with the following :-

2:20 Hamilton - ANGEL WARRIOR - The Haslam yard, would not be most peoples first choice for juvenile winners, but they do have a fair strike rate and can get on ready. By leading first season sire Dark Angel and is well enough bred to cause an upset. The stable also have a decent record at the track and are currently in good nick.

6:00 Navan - FOOLISH LADY - Satisfactory debut for this one and definitely should have more to come. FAV maybe put in a better debut, but still happy with mine at the prices.

7:10 Kempton - SHEWALSKINBEAUTY - Thought this one had a bit of a future after her debut, but struggled to find her form since. Takes a step up in trip today and enough middle distance sorts in the pedigree to suggest that she will cope.

9:00 Navan - UNIQUE STYLE - Very opposable on the balance of her form, but takes a further step up in trip today and has blinkers applied for the first time. Down to a mark of 62 as well and no surprise to see major improvement.


3:05 Ascot - SHAMANDAR - Just an EW on this one, as he does have form at the track and ran pretty well here LTO in a big handicap. Going to add GP3 winner ANNA SALAI, for a fancy priced reverse forecast.

A good day yesterday thanks to PROHIBIT at 14/1, todays card looks very tough so small ew stakes on a few longshots only...

2.30 Ascot
Looks competitive but surely Majestic Myles is too big at 25/1 (only 25.0 / 5.4 BF so better off taking bookies 26.0 / 7.25) - two good efforts in handicaps this season and might improve for this trip. Not too much to find on the book.

4.25 Ascot
Looks as impossible as ever, I'm not convinced the stands side bias will be there again but who knows? I've gone for Chapter And Verse who is currently 40/1 at Bet365 who pay 5 places 1/4 odds, so place is 11.0 (40.0 / 10.0 at BF only 4 places, only 5.5 for 5 places!). Consistent and ran well at Newmarket last time when ground too slow.

5.00 Ascot
Shumoos is going to take all the beating here but I think Vocational can run a big race from the front. She should have beaten Dozy last time but missed the kick and used up too much energy getting to the front - even so she nearly held on and with a better break here can have most of these in trouble. 18/1 with the bookies and 19.0 / 5.0 at BF.

can go well at a price for a stable that just loves to win at this meeting.

Anything could win this, small win & place bet on Sweetie Time at 36.0 / 9.2 - trainer has good record in this race and she looked unsuited to the soft ground on her last 2 starts as a 2yo.

Nighmare scenario is if they take each other on, but FV is generally consistent and willing. MC has a win here and ranfairly lto. Draw is poor for FV but it could be run at a daudle early on.

Great winner Wively. Sadly for me, my selection took yours on for the lead and ended up fading into 4th ( at 25's )

Angel Warrior, was backed from 40's into 20's, but blew the start and trailed home last ( losses only leant hopefully )

Foolish Lady, led until the last 150 Yards, before being a bit one paced ( finished 3rd )

Unique Style was even more gutting, finishing 2nd at 18's. She was prominent from the start, but ran quite wide on the 1st bend. She recovered quite nicely to lead 2f out, but got caught close home having traded 1.06 in running.
