A couple more places yesterday and got 14's on each so not bad. Still too many places for my liking and more hopeful with the following :-

2:50 Ayr - SURELY THIS TIME - Still a maiden, but does hold enough form to go close. First try on ground this soft, but this could bring about the improvement needed.

3:50 Ayr - CHARLES PARNELL - 3 from 12 at the track and will appreciate the soft ground. Ran nicely LTO when 2nd ( having blown the start ) and must be a threat, granted an even break.

4:50 Ayr - QUANNAH PARKER - Very well treated on his old form and 2 of his last 3 runs, also give him a leading chance. 10f on soft ground looks ideal and should make an impression of this sort of mark.

5:00 Folkestone - DESERT AUCTION - Dropped a couple of pounds for today and that brings him right into the mix. Last couple of efforts have been decent and could easily strike soon.

7:10 Clonmel - QUARTON - Only ever won over hurdles, but enough from on the flat to give him an each way chance.

The race does have the look of a few improvers but SD looks to be trying his best trip and looks fairly priced.
