Re: Weds 25th May
Been threatening lately, but more places than wins. Won't mind a few placing today as most are at decent odds :-
3:50 Ayr - ILLUSTRIOUS PRINCE - Been running with credit so far this season and I still think he can win off this sort of mark. Jockey takes a handy 5ib off and has a chance in an open race. 4:25 Ayr - MOZAYADA - Strange horse really, in that she has lots of winning form at Southwell, but has not shown as much on soft turf. Her turf mark is however a lot lower than her AW one and really should be making an impact off 57. 5:40 Punchestown - SANG BLEU - Steps back up to 3m1f today and has several form lines that give him a chance. Sound jumper, won't mind the ground and has a chance at around 14's. 8:30 Beverley - ALENSGROVE - Ran well LTO and the step up in trip should suit. Still looks fairly weighted and about right at 6's. 4:25 Ayr - Just throwing a couple more in for a combo forecast / tricast - ETERNAL INSTINCT AMTAAR MOZAYADA |

Re: Weds 25th May
Decent money coming for the Gordon Elliot trained Mejd in the 2:20, 13/2 into 2/1 with paddy power, and yet Abergevanny has only drifted from 1/4 to 1/3. A gross overeaction becuase of who the trainer is imvho.
In what looks a clear 2 horse race (its now 80 bar 2 on Betfair), I think people are hoping Abergevanny isnt upto the mark after a recent run on the flat, leaving Mejd as the only alternative. He maybe was overpriced at 13/2 given the uncompetitve nature of the race, BUT if Abergavenny is anywhere near his form he`ll win easy. And I watched his run last time on the flat, he got no run and was eased when beaten. Anywhere near 2/5 is stealing imvho If people buy into the elliot factor, he could be 1/2 ![]() |

Absolutley gutted though as Dance Fir Julie drifted to 5/2, was about 15L clear, jumped the last and the jockey fell off over the horses head! Would have been nearer £150 if that had stayed up ![]() |

Re: Weds 25th May
Apologies for the lateness of the message. Did not matter as the horse trailed in 5th ( was going well for a long way, but then hit a major flat spot, before staying on again ). Unusually two of Milan's ran today in bumpers and both failed.
