Got quite a few for today, so here we go. I'll have to admit that, although I usually back my selections with cash, I won't be putting cash on these to start with. I won't go into details because I know it sounds silly but I'm looking at the cards and I'm not feeling the confidence that i was feeling when I was picking out my horses yesterday.

Couple of places yesterday, but never threatened to be a winning day. Stuggling to find slections in England, so had to scour Europe for the following four :-

1:30 Longchamp - NONSUCH WAY - At the end of a week, when we sadly lost Verglas, it would be fitting if he could sire a Group 1 winner. This filly has plenty of decent form and should appreciate the soft ground. Bit to find on the official ratings, but should not be 25/1.

1:40 Curragh - FASTIDIOUS - The early 9/2 with Lads has gone and is now down to as short as 7/4. Very interesting debutante, without the money, so of real interest now. Definitely bred to make an impact and Dermot Weld can get one ready. Foot Soldier an obvious danger and would not be surprised if SLADE POWER ran well at a price.

4:15 Cologne - EXCELEBRATION - Marco Botti sends this one over for the German 2,000 Guinneas and has a strong form chance. Nice to see Adam Kirby on board and this one deserves to be at the top of the market.

6:05 Limerick - ROURKE'S CROSS - Originally there was 2 Milan's entered and I was leaning towards MEDHLAN. Thankfully that one is a non runner and now there is no decision to be made. Owner, trainer and rider are all to be feared and really should put his debut effort behind him.
