Re: wed 18th May
Generally crappy so far this week, but have always managed to find one race to get me out of trouble. Certainly poor yesterday, but Jouster's surprise 3rd @ 66's, ensured a profit. Could go either way today, but certainly hopeful with the following :-
3:20 Kempton - PEARL OPERA - Stable in decent nick and this one is making her handicap debut today. Gets in on a decent looking mark and looks to have been crying out for the step up in trip. 6:15 Kempton - EAGER TO BOW - Possibly better at Brighton, but does hold some decent fom here. Draw not ideal and does need the gaps to open, but is in good form and should go close. 7:10 Punchestown - NINTH LEGION - First couple of maiden efforts were not that good, but did show improved form LTO. Back up in trip to 2m4f today and Davy Russell booked, so plenty of cause for optimism. 8:30 Sedgefield - LANGLEY HOUSE - I could just say the words Milan and Bumper and leave it at that. I will however and Howard Johnson and low weight. May want further in time, but the track could well suit. Maximum respect to the FAV, but this one is just too short for me. OTHERS 3:55 Kempton - Fancy 3 horses in this race, so going for a combo forecast / tricast on the following - EL MAACHI SPIRITOF OAKDALE OUT OF THE STORM 8:30 Sedgefield - Along with the win bet, Combo forecast on the following - ROMANY RYME WATTLE BRIDGE LANGLEY HOUSE |

Re: wed 18th May
PEARL OPERA was IMO kept a little too far off the pace. Did stay on nicely for 4th, but looks to want a further step up in trip. Drifted from 16's to 25's, but overall ran quite well.
The 3:50 Combination Forecast was not up too much, but EL MAACHI ran a nice race for a 25/1 3rd. |

Re: wed 18th May
Mr Drummer Boy bombed out.
Ling 5.20 The Big Hearth @ 11.0 Claimed by Evan 3runs back on account of beating one of his in a seller. Pro ridden & c/p's on should hopefully eek out some improvement, although the draw is a concern. beamer |

Re: wed 18th May
Tough luck with Langley House Samoan.
I traded my stake out twice @ 1.33 & 1.06. I hope you managed to do the same. That finishing straight catches many a horse and jock out. Cheers beamer |
