wed 11th May
Very liitle time to study but there is one in the 1st at York that I wouldn't want to be laying at the price.
York 1.30 Nice Style @ 60.0 Initially looks worth opposing on a high mark achieved on the A/W. However, this 6yo has only had 5 runs on turf, dating back nearly 3 years, when he was 3 from 5 runs. Well behind Suits Me lto in derby trial, but he pulled badly that day and it's simply a case of him looking overpriced, especially as we have little idea how he will go on turf. beamer |

Re: wed 11th May
Don't wish to worry you Beamer, but I also fancy NICE STYLE. I have been with this a few times in his career and am a long term fan of his sire Desert Style. I only avoid DS's on soft ground ( the odd one will go on soft ) so am confident that the ground will be fine. Going back to his last run, it is also worth noting that he went off quite short at 7/1.
My others for today are as follows :- 5:25 Fontwell - MILLY MALONE - Once again its the old Milan in a bumper system. This one ran a very nice debut, but ran inexplicably badly next time out. Wellbeing taken on trust, but the race lacks any strength in depth. Really should go close. 7:30 Naas - NINGALOO REEF - Another race that seems to lack any real strength in depth and happy to take a chance with an unraced sort. The sire, Acclamation is a strong speed influence, but the rest of the pedigree is all about middle distance. No surprise that they are starting this one at 10f and whilst I know very little about the trainer, I would not be surprised if this ran well at a price. 9:20 Kempton - DIES SOLIS - Makes his debut for the Gask Yard today and also having his first run on the AW. Has a couple of strong pieces of turf from and these put him right up there. Fitness has to be taken on trust, but does look a leading player. Each Way Bet 3:00 York - HITCHENS - Probably aiming to high with a GP2, but does have a ton of ability and always shows decent speed. Reverse Forecast 4:10 York ALEJANDRO PONTY ACCLAIM Backed them both earlier in the Year and both impressed with their wins. Very tough race to call, but I think there is more to come from both. |

Re: wed 11th May
finished around 11th, but I don't think the centre-to-far side is the place to be in the home straight, they seemed to be kicking up divots there but not on the stands side, where the first few came home.

![]() The point about the divots is something that happens a lot at York and Donny. Cheers beamer |

Re: wed 11th May
Kem 8.20 Merton Lady @ 9.6
I think there's achance that the two 6/4 shots could get turned over here. Senor Tibor held some appeal @ 110.0, but looks to have been put in too high. Same sire as fav. Merton Lady is unraced but this race has cut up and I'm 1/1 this season for the trainer / jock combo. HIs horse generally break well and could be a trading position at the least. beamer |

Won easily gambled from 15/2 into 9/2. The fact that she was only put in at 3k for a claim and the support, indicates it was job done, but I'm more interested to know where she goes next and whether they have really let a 70+ rated filly goe for peanuts on the back of one gamble. beamer |
