Re: Wed April 20th
Tricky looking day and having a go with the following :-
2:00 Epsom - BEST TRIP - Does not have much turf experience, but is very quick from the gates and is drawn to make an impact. Fastest 5f course in the country and this one could take some pegging back. 2:10 Southwell - LITTLE BLACK BOOK - Never got going on debut and finished in his own time. This was a very valuable race however and interesting that they started him off at such a high level. By Shamardal, so should appreciate the surface and I expect him to leave his debut form well behind. Good trainer / jockey combo and no surprise to me if they got involved. 5:30 Southwell - CAPTAIN BELLAMY - Well supported at Kempton, but the race did not pan out his way. That did at least confirm that he had ability and should be able to make his mark off 55. American bred, so should go on the surface and Hughie Morrison does well here with his 3yo's. 7:20 Kempton - SWIFT BLADE - Tough to ignore the FAV, but happy to oppose anything at odds on. Exceed and Excel's would not generally get 1m3f, but this one has plenty of stamina on the dam's side and has looked to need the step up in trip. 193 day absence a bit of a worry, but the stable can get one fit after a break. |

Re: Wed April 20th
guys,
one ive been waiting for is SILAAH of dandy nicholls which runs in the opener at epsom (200 race). this has been probably one of the most progressive sprinters on the all weather this winter and was sent out to dubai recently where again it ran with much merit. today it reverts to turf and id be very hopeful it can continue being competitive seeing as it has a BHA turf rating considerably below its AW one. of the four nicholls runners here it looks the stable pick with son adrian riding and im on this one with a large each way play at the best odds available this morning. potentially this 7yo has the ability to progress further than handicaps and could even be a group class sprinter this year. |

Re: Wed April 20th
I will be dutching Captain Bellamy and Generous Genella Samoan.
I like your pick but GG could be overpriced. Julie Fielden has given this horse 3 quick runs inside a month which is strange considering they were tender with the horse last year. I wouldn't be surprised if it improved with a change to f/sand and a 6lb drop in the weights. Good luck beamer |

Newc 7.05 We'll deal Again @ 7.4
Followed this over a cliff but fav too short and blinkers may hopefully erase the slow start. Beamer |

Re: Wed April 20th
Good work with WE'LL DEAL AGAIN, Beamer. Bit disappointing for me in the end, as the win of LITTLE BLACK BOOK ( Took the early 20's ) suggested that it would be a good day.

Re: Wed April 20th
Well done again Samoan.
WDA was taken off a list I keep to follow but the favs price made it value to me. I was calling the jock with a 1f to go as he never made any effort, but he did the job. The fav went 1.01 in running. Another on the list was Watered Silk, which won but was too short. Cheers beamer |
