Morning everyone, still not sure about the weather around the country so again I'm playing it safe. I've gone for these two but they are backed in hope rather than expectation.

Lingfield 15:00 - Fromsong e/w
Lingfield 17:00 - Fairy Flight to win

Plenty of rain at Catterick, but not much elsewhere. My 4 selections are as follows :-

2:30 Lingfield - PACO BELLE - Useful on her 2 starts so far and the form of the last race boosted by Byrony winning. Any Hannon 2yo has to be considered and this one should go close.

4:10 Catterick - CHARLES PARNELL - More rain the better for this one and down to a career low mark of 58. Should be capable off that mark and in a very winnable race as well.

7:20 Leicester - ELECTRIC CITY - Decent 2nd LTO, off of 52 and remains on the same mark Today. First time cheekpieces another plus and also down to selling company. Should really go close.

8:15 Sandown - TRULY ASIA - Better than the bare form suggest on his last 2 runs and stable flying at present. Trip and ground ideal and capable of wiining off a mark of 75.

Apologies Gents, Probably the worst day of the Year for me , with none of the 4 horses ever looking like even placing. Electric City was hampered 2 out, but was probably going nowhere. Of the others a couple of them ran nowhere near their mark and Paco Belle faded so badly, that something may have gone amiss.

I wouldn't worry too much Samoan, the winners will come. I think the saying is swings and roundabouts.
