Tuesday's Horses

Some interesting cards today and my four are as follows :-

3:30 Pontefract - STARLIGHT MUSE - Track could assist, although may still want further. Still a maiden, but tends to run her race. Looks to be on a winnable mark and good young Jockey takes off 7lb.

4:45 Wolves - FIFTH DIMENSION - Good mix of speed / stamina and IMO is the strongest of the 3 newcomers. The form on show does not look that great, so would not be surprised if it went to a debutante.

8:40 Southwell - BENOZZO GOZZOLI - Big fan of both the trainer and the sire at Southwell. Has experience of the surface ( Though did not acheive much, but has improved since ), looks fairly weighted and is more than capable of taking this.

9:00 Roscommon - TISTOBESURE - Obvious concern is the loing absence, but plenty of other positives. Nicely bred ( Oscar out of a Supreme Leader mare ), has solid form, top amateur booked and started at 6/1 or less on all 3 starts. Should really go close.

highly tried this season but has run with credit on most runs. today looks slightly easier than some of the tasks she's had so id be hopeful of a decent run from this likeable mick channon filly.

just failed to last out lto when beaten on the line. had progressed with both outings and experience counts in these sort of races so provided it acts on the all weather it must surely be in the shake up.
