Friday's Horses
Been a bit busy the last couple of days, so aplogies for the lack of posts. Bit more time today and going with the following four : -
2:20 Sandown - EXCELLERATOR - Raced mainly in stakes races, but did make a belated handicap debut LTO. Testing track should suit and no surprise to me if he shows up at a big price. 3:45 Warwick - SPANISH ACCLAIM - Tipped and backed this one LTO and ran well for 6f, before fading. Horse showed talent and temperament of similar levels at 2, but looked a lot more mature on his last run. Can't see too much pace in the race and would not be surprised if SA tried to make all. 7:20 Bellewstown - GREAT REALIEF - First try at a mile, but this could bring about more improvement. Mark still looks fair and has enough solid form to win this race. 8:50 Haydock - SNOW DANCER - Her last 2 runs have been at this track and both have been OK, dropped 3 lbs now and back on a winning mark. Her win % is not great, but would not be surprised if she ran well. Only Great Realief available at single figure odds at the moment, so obviously some risky propositins here. Still hopeful however of at least one big priced winner. |

Re: Friday's Horses
guys,
donc300 GHUFA a model of consistency this year and a handicappers nightmare given its running style (nearly always held up for a late run). sure to be involved in the finish granted a decent ride i would of thought. hayd745 DOLLY PARTON nap stands out on the ratings in this low grade seller and hails from the dandy nicholls stable who have often targeted this race previously. not much of a price but should be very hard to beat. hayd815 ESCAPE ARTIST ew has disappointed the last twice, heavily supported lto at beverley but is on a feasible handicap mark when things drop into place. stable still firing out the winners so im happy to give it another go today. hayd850 MUSIC OF THE MOOR progressive 3yo that narrowly failed lto in a decent ripon handicap, previously having won on seasonal debut. up in the ratings again today but still gives the impression that there is more to come. |

Re: Friday's Horses
and a couple at beverley tonite........
755 PENDRAGON looks ready to strike here after two cracking efforts in defeat recently. this race is definately an easier looking heat than the hot carlisle event lto and im expecting a massive run here tonight. 900 TOURNEDOS not the force of old but still a decent sprinter in this grade and comes here on the back of a good run at hamilton recently when just failing to land a touch (14/1 into 9/2). well draw tonight and compensation awaits. |

I also like Tournadous, but will be using it as a saver against a bigger priced animal in Commander Wish, who is likely to trade bigger than the current 25.0.
Strike rate for CW is poor, but his last run was poorly drawn in an app's race, with the CP's disgarded. Better drawn and CP's back on, with Liam Jones back on board, who was the last jockey to win on him years ago, I 'm giving this beast one last chance. Entirely possible it's in major decline but there have been some iffy rides on this. Draw is not such a hindrance, based on it's style of running as long as he can travel on the rail for part of the race. cheers beamer |

Re: Friday's Horses
Well done,
As we're all getting involved in the 9pm race t Beverley, I'll throw my thoughts in. I always repeat that when betting at Beverley, I like to go with horses who like Beverley and Darcy's Pride is my idea of a decent price here at 8/1. I'm going to go with 5pts for the win at 8/1 bet365 best odds guaranteed. For the place, I'm going with betfair who pay for fourth place with the slightly tighter odds for the place of 2.4 for 10pts. |

Re: Friday's Horses
Cheers Guys, Must admit I was a little happier with SPANISH ACCLAIM, as the race panned out as planned. Snow Dancer may have been more than twice the price, but this was just one of her " going days " so was a bit more fortunate

Re: Friday's Horses
Thanks Tykepunter, just a bit worried about how I follow that. I have an awful feeling that the 20 horse losing streak is just around the corner.
