Not had much luck with the selections I've posted on here so far and today I'm giving the kiss of death to Touch of Style (14:30 Salisbury). The price should be short but I'd be happy with 6/4 (or better) on this one.

MARLINKA 4.00 Windsor. Had it backed when it won at Fos Las in May, did not do well next time out at Ascot, but told should go well today and being backed also, 11/4 Boyles

Very busy today, so not had a good look . I do think that A WORD APART, must have a chance in the 1 : 45 at The Curragh. Mixed messages from the pedigree, but safe to assume he has shown some speed at home. Decent altenative to the FAV.

Nice debut effort from A WORD APART and will certainly find a race soon. My other 3 are as follows :-

3:45 Uttoxeter - DOWNING STREET - Change of headgear and drop in trip are positives, but is an infrequent winner. Place possibilities, but the win is not beyond him.

3:50 Curragh - HITCHENS - Has experience in big fields, is still feasibly weighted, has conditions to suit and has Jamie Spencer to assist. No obvious reson, why he should not run well, but of course will need luck in running.

5:20 Salisbury - THOUGHTFUL - Step up in trip should suit and has plenty of scope. Apprentice has a 50% strike rate for a Yard that is going well.

Nice one on Marlinka. I left mine alone after getting too impatient (waited for ages for 6/4 as well) and went for Everybody Knows instead, got on nice and early for the price. He had a good run but he was not in the race...
