Tuesday Thoughts

Super Sunday, was followed by a Moderate Monday ( possibly being kind there ). Been a bit of a struggle to find 'em Today, but still hopeful with the following :-

4:45 Beverley - TRICK OR TWO - Tipped this one up a few times and always a decent back to lay option. Has always been prominent in his races and has tended to be a lot shorter in running. Has been collared a lot close home and the stiff finish is a worry. Should be possible to make Money on this horse whatever, as history suggests they will try to make all and again I would be surprised if it is not a lot shorter in
running.

6:50 Newbury - TEMPTINGFAITH - Pleasing debut and by Acclamation, so no surprise that he showed good early speed. Sixth on debut does not look to good, but worth noting that the 2nd, 3rd and 5th, have all won since ( plus several decent placed efforts from the others ) so the form has a solid look about it.

7:55 Newbury - FIRST POET - Windsor 4th looks very good, with 3 Winners coming out of the race. His only bad run at 3, came over 10f, where he weakened 1f out. Has been competitive off this mark and may have the scope to do better.

9:10 Newton Abbot - VINTAGE FABRIC - 2 of 3 career wins have come here and back to a winning mark. Pleasing re - introduction 16 days ago and should be much better for it.

I like the look of Vintage Fabric, it's not a strong race and this one looks a solid prospect. Congrats on your Sunday selections as well.

Two nice winners at 8's and 5's. Trick or Two's effort was not bad for me as I was able to lay it at a much smaller price ( thought it would trade shorter in running, but was actually very well backed, before the off.
