One for Tuesday

Good morning everyone, there's not a lot on the cards for me today but I will be going in for Danehillsundance in the 3:15 at Beverley. He isn't a serial winner but his latest run at Carlisle (similar track charactersitics to Beverley I believe) showed enough to suggest he could go close today and also a runner behind him at Carlisle (Tepmokea) has gone on to score in a Class 4 since. Fujin Dancer also appeals after a decent run in The Zetland but I'll stick with Danehill as Fujin is 0-9 for the distance and that bothers me slightly. Any other views on the race would be appreciated, good luck everyone.

Hi again CW, always good to see new guys contributing and good luck with your bets. Bigger danger to your selection may be GENERAL TUFTO. The horse has never won at this level, but is in good form and likes the track. Biggest issue in the race is the pace, as there are a lot of confirmed hold up horses. If the Jockey on UMVERTI can poach enough of a lead then this one could be tough to peg back ( led all the way on its last visit to Beverley ). Ultimately a tough race and plenty of positives / negatives for all involved.

I agree, general Tufto's form does give him a good case. The only reason I could see for not backing him would be that he ran here in a class 4 and even though he was a close second, he didn't manage the win off the lower mark.

Nice one Chonky, won it a touch cosily in the end. As I suspected UMVERTI, made most of the running and set it up for the finisher
