Just a solitary place at 10's Yesterday, so improvement needed. My 4 for Today are as follows :-

2:15 Down Royal - PIMLICO SOUND - Very poor race and whilst still a maiden Pimlico Sound definately has the form to win this.

3:$0 Pontefract - PROSPECT WELLS - Long absence is somewhat of a worry, but will win this if he reproduces his best French form

4:45 Down Royal - ACADEMIC ACCOLADE - Probably should have broken his maiden tag by now, and has too often flattered to deceive. Has been tried at plenty of trips, but 10f, looks about right.

5:!0 Pontefract - JOHANNESGRAY - Not too much luck in his last 2 runs and his ability to find trouble in Smallish fields is a worry. Has edged down the weights because of this however and definitely should be capable of winning in this sort of company.

Had an acca going, so not totally disappointed with the Non Runner in the last. The 2 Irish won a bit cosily and Prospect Wells, battled on very bravely.

I've said it before, quite recently actually, this almost-dead forum will become completely-dead very soon unless more people make a little bit of effort. 154 views of this thread so it's not like people aren't reading, it's just the lazy/ignorant/selfish fuckers are too lazy/ignorant/selfish to bother to click the fucking reply button.

I sometimes spend 30 mins or so typing up an intricate post to put on here, 30 mins I could be doing something more important, I don't do it to be prasied or arse-licked and dancing fucking bananas posted for my effort, but at least a bit of acknowledgement or discussion about the race, you fuckers. Even keeping simple non-analysis threads like the place bets takes a fair while to sort the profit/loss etc

If the place doesn't pick up soon then there's really no point for the few who are bothering to stick around.

I have to agree. Just got my internet back, and checking the threads, you hardly get any replies, which is bloody harsh, considering people are tailing your picks!

Cheers Guys, I must admit, I dont think I would bother with any long term system threads and all credit to Seen, Top Dog, JTW and ODM for doing so. I have to say I tend to spend around an hour, both selecting and typing up my views. Sometimes it is worth it ( this thread ) and sometimes it is not ( Mon 21st thread )

The lethargy around the horse racing section is a bit of a shame really, as I genuinely believe that the contributors on here are very knowledgeable and the standard of tipping is very high ( especially for a free service ) Yes, we all have our bad runs, but over the last couple of Months I am sure one would have been well in profit, by following every tip on TDP. I know that I put up a 28/1 winner ( backed from 50's ) and I seem to remember that SEEN also put up a big priced winner of a Bath 2yo Maiden, and all this alongside his "Place Bets " thread. Top Dog, jtw1, Grim, ODM, Esperit Skillz, Amocabe, Beamer and FC Basher ( sorry if I have left anyone out ) have all put up good winners and I do read every post on here ( often after the horse has won mind) and do appreciate the effort being put in. I probably am as guilty as anyone else, for not thanking people and will look to put that right.
