i find it hard to understand why toubab has drifted on b.f. (traded to small money @2), maybe down to the fact 1 or 2 from the nichols stable have disappointed at short odds recently,but on the whole theyre running ok. anyway toubabs french form looks passable (hopefully toubab will not be) and he looks opposed today by animals that would mostly look at home in an arboretum, so to sum up ive grabbed a lump of 1.95 on bf (would have settled for 1.6) wish me luck guys.

I had the fav as an 'anything', getting a handle on French hurdle form is almost impossible, so it's price was based mainly on reputation of his stable and potential - which sometimes pays off but is rarely value.

Just before the off I heard the commentator mention that the fav had not impressed in the paddock, looking a lean type so I quickly place-layed it at 1.18....it went to 1.21 on the off but pulled like a train early on which can't have helped (not after-timing, see my thread) - he travelled okay but found little so might need more time to acclimatise

I don't know if it's a worthwhile comment but I know the bulk of the stable have flu injections over Jan. I've no idea how long they take to recover.

cheers guys,well done seen,beamer i think you may have been overkind to the beast imo it finished behind camels, the annoying thing was i could have got out @1.6 ish and had a nice green screen but f*&%^$$*in greedy,kept the lot, talking about nichols nags in general though some cant lift a leg like the 1st 2 races yesterday,then in the last 2 both ran well 1st and 2nd, so i am deffo gonna be very carecful with his runners in the near future.
