Re: Horses To Follow

George Adamson has an entry tuesday night in the last at Carlisle.Positives - looks ok hcap wise, right jockey, testing track, drop down to class 6 from 5.
Negatives - extended 7f might still not be long enough as this race has a fair share of distance winners.
Ground is good at the moment, should there be anymore rain might suit for this staying galloper.

High Class Problem holds two entries at Lingfield (aw) on wednesday.
OR is higher on the aw and carries weight accordingly.Unsure about backing this one,was hoping they were going on the flat turf next time out.

Re: Horses To Follow

Black Snowflake ran third yesterday in the Betfred Siilver Bowl. 40/1 just before the off but in the strange way that prices often do, it magically changed to 33/1 when the bookies realised that they would actually have to pay out.

Anyway, I digress. The first and second were way, way ahead of the rest but this horse finished a clear third but the impressive bit was that it was well back in the field and on the rail when they hit two furlongs and was then pulled wide to go all the way around the field which meant that it travelled further than any other horse in the race. Not mentioned in commentary but it looked damned impressive to me.

It has two entries at Royal Ascot in June for the group 1 St James Palace Stakes and the Royal Hunt Cup - a handicap race. If it goes for the latter then the 40/1 with Bet365 looks a fantastic price to me (Other firms are quoting 25/1).

Any antepost bet is a gamble but for me this has got to be worth a small each way bet.

Re: Horses To Follow

Memphis Man I backed this horse today, felt it was on a very good mark and I knew the course suited, hes a genuine horse,69 runs on turf he has 8 wins and 19 places.

He run in a class 4 6f event at Windsor, race comments below
Taken down early, held up off the pace in about 9th, slightly checked over 1f out and lost place, stayed on again inside final furlong (op 16-1)

He runs at Newcastle on friday again 6f but this time in class 5,this race has plenty of course and or distance winners, but my concern its left handed track on good to firm ground and that combination doesnt seem to suit.

Re: Horses To Follow

Your probably best posting them on the general forum Moranm1. This thread looks to have passed away and probably needs removing.

Good luck with your horses.

Re: Horses To Follow

Repeater.

Mark Prescott's 2 year old just ran its first race over 7f at Leicester. It spent 20 minutes trying to shag everything in site and, even then, showed plenty of talent when the race got under way.

I don't have the race times but it will improve and win races. I'll be on it from now on though the next race may possibly not see it learning enough to shake the coltishness out of it, I see it likely to win the time after that (possibly at 6 furlongs rather than 7)

Apart from the 6 furlong bit, spot on. Repeater wins tonight on its third appearance at 4/1
