2 longshots at Pontefract
2 fancies today, both are huge odds and will probably be unplaced but worth a small go win & place in case they surprise...
2.10 - MENEDIVA (230.0 / 32.0) shaped with a bit of promise at Beverley, only a claimer but this looks a weak race. Came from way back to finish 7th, only beaten 5l. Needs to improve but looks likely to and is definitely too big at 230.
4.40 - The odds-on fav will probably win this but the others looks poor and I wouldn't be surprised to see SIRJOSH (120.0 / 20.0) to go well at big odds. A promising 5th at 100/1 in a similar race at Yarmouth, flopped last time but may not have taken to Polytrack. Seems to have been priced up on his last run rather than his debut. It's just a shame there are only 7 runners so only 2 places.
