Well its Monday and im back in these parts. Im taking Was' speculative pick today on the basis of VALUUUUE

I guess Was' thinking behind Hawaii Prince in the 19:00 Maiden at Musselburgh at 25/1 is on value. Finished last in its only race so far but it was class 3 entry and this is class 5. No other horse in the race has ever been entered higher than class 5 before (if had a run at all). Maybe theres something in that but either way at 25/1 in a 9 horse race where none of the the runners have ever had a win before cant be bad really. Its standout oddswise as well, 1 book even goes as low as 12/1.

p.s Question - 9 runners is top 3 each way yes? When does it just 2nd place is each way, 8 runners? 7?

I fancied a wee look through the cards myself today in the races with short fields and Ive highlighted a few potentials. Gona go to bed for a few hours then wake up refreshed to hopefully find some nice odds to take on. Itd be nice to get a winner

Had a bit of a dilemma there. I was looking at the 2.55 at Newmarket there, was having a bit of trouble deciding between the 2 most fancied Metropolitan Man and Bold Alaska, then Was' thread gets updated and he tips up Metropolitan Man

Metropolitan man then went over 3/1 and is the more proven horse so i went for that. If it doesnt win, I hope Bold Alaska isnt the winner
