Re: James' picks
I will stake from 1 to 5 - I do not like telling actual monatory units but I am actually on these horses and I will be putting actual money on to back up the tips. If anyone has any opinions on the choices please pipe up and compare thoughts.
The first bet stake was 1 |

Re: James' picks
Todays pick - Nice Tune in the 3.20 at Chester. Proven winner at this distance, ran really well in a Listed race at Kempton, but also has form on turf. Suprisingly for me is quite low in the handicap, but is open to even more improvement over its best distance here. 11/2 at the moment but the market movement will be interesting, currently a decent E/W saver I think. 1 point staked so far and maybe more if it shortens.

Re: James' picks
I do not like the racing today but one race has caught my eye, the 2.20 at Chester. Green Manalishi (out in gate 8) for me is the best horse in the race. Won a group 2 handicap last time out (by 1 1/2 L), he did this by chasing the leaders as he would need to again today from a poor looking position. @11/2 looks a fair EW bet (staked 2).
However the horse I really like is Enchantment, ran last time in a group 1 listed race but today has the great Frankie onboard so if anybody can help her improve its Frankie. If Enchantment does improve on the last few runs it should be competing at the front in this @12/1 a good E/W bet (Staked 2) |

Re: James' picks
Well at least I made a very small profit on Green Manaleshi, (lost more on Enchantment though). Today I like the look of the very first race on the cards at Lingfield (13:40) where Kalatime races first time on the All Weather track. This 3yo ran well over 1m 2 last time out at Windsor, finishing 7th in a competative group 5 maiden.
What interests me is that she finished well in that race and even though she got outpaced ran creditably in a race better than todays. Currently 8/1 best bookmaker price and well worth an E/W dabble I think. Stake = 2 |
