Two for Ayr

Ashleybank Investments sponsors two races on the Ayr card today. The family are big supporters of racing and will no doubt have a fair few people there today for hospitality purposes. It is not uncommon for them to have winners in races they sponsor or on cards where they sponsor races so will be interested in their two runners today.

The first is Bajan Bandit in the scottish grand national. Unbeaten in half a dozen starts at Ayr, but will not want quick ground. In the midland grand national at Uttoxeter he pulled up so question marks about the trip but in such a big field has a decent shout of making the frame at his favourite track.

The second is Skippers Brigg in the bumper. Never raced before so its a total punt in the dark but Len Lungo and the owners have landed this race in the last two years and will no doubt be after the hat trick.
