Sunday Bloody Bloodbath?
Most of my footy bets went tits up yesterday and I lost the equivilent of the GDP of a small South American country.
Luckily I remembered that I had my poker skills to fall back on. Sadly, I neglected to remember that I had been to the pub at dinner time. Still - I'll put some more funds in my poker account on Monday Anyway, a good punter is never put off by a bad streak. Coincidently, neither am I and I intend to use all my wit and guile to wrestle some dosh from the dirty filthy hands of the villanous bookies (Booooooooo). I'm posting this in the horsey section because that's where I intend to ply my trade for the day until I get a profit but I'll copy it into GC too I think, in case anyone has any other nailed on non-horsey bets that they wish to donate. Snooker? Footy. I'll keep an eye on all the relevent threads too but if you have any stuff that you think might help me avoid having to sell the Big Issue on Tuesday, feel free to let me know. Let's put a stop to (my) poverty - Now Thank you for listening. |

Not hugely confident here ODM but you might be interested in ...
Sivasspor v Ankaraspor < 2.5 goals Farnerud has tipped them over at BA. Not normally my cup of tea but both teams have strikers injured or suspended. Kicks off at 12.30. |

Re: Sunday Bloody Bloodbath?
Got it Daikoku. Will seek it out now. Even though I'm not keen of having to wait 94 minutes to be sure of collecting
I hate late goals. |

Re: Sunday Bloody Bloodbath?
Well just don't go mad on the stakes as looking at results both teams look a wee bit overish to me. However a draw would suit Ankaraspor as they ain't quite safe whilst Sivasspor have nowt to play for. It's the missing strikers that swung it for me though.

Re: Sunday Bloody Bloodbath?
I'm still looking at the 210 at Towcester. I've already placed my bet but anyone looking for a potential squeek at a big price should have a look at Maryscross, currently 12/1 at most bookies and 14.5 on betfair (4.1 for a place).
Anything could happen in this race. We have a fav who is has a history of not settling in races and very little decent hurdling experience among the major contenders. Against this background, Maryscross makes her hurdling debut having never been out of the top four places in all four of her National Hunt flat races, in which she's performed. Never looked like winning either to be fair and only staying on at one pace (but staying on nevertheless) but with enough doubt in the others ability, 12/1 seems a decent enough price to me but if my money wasn't already down I'd take the 3/1 for a place at betfair for a small stake. |
