An interesting 9-runner 5f handicap here. There are 4 runners trading at below 10.0 and I feel we can have decent bet here with minimal risk. On my speed figures, NORTHEN CHORUS clocked a fair time (although nothing special), whereas both BAHAMIAN DUKE and SLIPPERFOOT recorded times which suggests they are both capable of winning above their current marks. These two are both better drawn than NORTHERN CHORUS so these are the two I will go with to get the profits. A saver on the latter as his time was, after all, respectable.

The only other which I feel could possibly be a fly in the ointment is DESERT HUNTER, but this one was beaten almost 4l by BAHAMIAN DUKE last time, looking as if a return to 6f was needed.

I'm backing the 2 fast clockers with a saver on NORTHERN CHORUS to return stakes. Confident of no less than break even here with a decent chance of a profit.
