Runs tonight 7.50 Kempton
Also 7.20 Emshabb - quickened well off slow pace to win after slow start 4.4.08 and can upgrade the performance.
Both EW for me @ 8/1 each

Finished 5th
Not up to it in this grade yet still a bit green in running and not filled frame fully yet but ,still of interest.

RAGAMUFFIN MAN is well liked by trainer and thought capable of winning a decent handicap this season. Showed good battling qualities to win a maiden last term and @ 25/1 is an E.W price for me today.
|
Ragamiffin Man 4th @ 33/1 ran well enough was friendless in market beforehand.

Re: Magyar's Musings
MULTI TASKER -Finished out the places in 5th having run in the front rank until late on. No great shakes but should be able to win a small race.
EMShABB -Drifted like a barge in betting. Buried at back and never really put in race. Will wait to see some money for it to
get involved again.

2.10 NEWBURY - Choose Your Moment @ 10/1 Looked a decent prospect last season. More of a 3yo than a 2yo so performances were a bonus. Should have no problem with trip and ground today. With Ryan Moore booked today , interesting with 4 places to aim at.

Re: Magyar's Musings
2.10 NEWBURY - Choose Your Moment beat . So whats new !
Wasn't fit judging on paddock pictures, was making some sort of forward move when stopped in run by horse in front. Even further in distance may suit. Still of interest.

Runs today 3.15 Thirsk, but at 5/2 and possible bounce factor i'll leave it alone . On a course that may not suit.I think stable may keep it for another day.

Re: Magyar's Musings
KEMPTON 22/04/08
3.35 - Pinch Of Salt -
Looked progressive last season. Lit up 29.03.08 and not getting best of runs on last run in a race which is producing winners.

Re: Magyar's Musings
Pinch of Salt gubbed in last few yards after having traded at 1/10 in running. Should be winning races soon. Nowadays i always put a lay in running at 1.11 on anything i back as a bit of insurance against gubbings.
Today
Beverley 3.10 - Top 3 in betting Albaqaa, Ataabas Pride and Toto Skylachy all in my list and difficult to come down firmly on one. Money for Toto would be significant but i will probably back all three at odds to make some kind of profit.
Southwell 8.05 - Topores. Of interest now in h/cap. Spencers only ride at track so may be overbet. I will be looking to get on early .

Re: Magyar's Musings
Beverley 3:10
| | | 1st (5) Albaqaa 15-8 Fav | | 2nd (1) Toto Skyllachy 13-2 | | 3rd (3) Atabaas Pride 2-1 | | 8 ran | | Also: 20-1 Joinedupwriting 4th | | WIN £2.70 | | Ex £220.40 CSF £14.76 | | Tote Place £1.10, £2.00, £1.10 |

Toto Skyllachy looked the quality one in the field in paddock and will come on for run as needed it. Definately one to follow. inmho.
