Nap of the Day - system

New system where through the winter months I am keeping occupied by backing 1 horse a day and writing why I am backing it and keeping a record.

Today I am off over the big fences at Aintree, its National fences time!! I am going NAP in the Grand Sefton. This race is not a hot one, most of the horses have not jumped around these fences before, unlike those going in the Bechers later in the afternoon.

I think Jonjo trains his horses particularly well when it comes to this kind of event, and Olay Olay looks a fluent jumper. The horse seems to be progressing nicely in its short stint at Jonjo's yard and can go well here.

9/2 shot, which is shorter than I was expecting but still a reasonable price for my first nap.

Just one of those things, did not jump well and Mccoy somehow stayed on, one to watch still in handicaps.

Tomorrows nap is running in the 12.30 at Lingfield, will be a short price but I fully expect Faithful Ruler to win again under a 6lbs penalty. Above evens will be a good price, but I will have to take SP as I start my new job tomorrow.

Todays nap was a NR, so nothing lost there. Tomorrows nap is Marjus Gold, who fell when going really well on debut. This time has a great opportunity against rivals who either carry penalties or are unproven. Should be a good price too, I expect 5/1 or higher

Tomorrows Lady Pilot, will be good if anywhere near the tissue 11/10 was going amazingly well before falling on debut. Stable rate this one highly.

Ha 5/4 not a great nap price!

I am sticking with the J Best stable tomorrow and go Forzacurity in the 2.05 at Uttoxeter, this horse should be in the top 3 in the market and looks likely to give a good account of himself.
