with that size stack you should have been all in pre-flop. When raised preflop, get all in then.

Go all in preflop when youve only got about 6bb or so left. As played youre never folding on the flop for about 3/1 together with the fact youd only have 3bb left if you do fold.

So yeah it is sort of one of those things but a better play would be to raise all in preflop.

1. If he had folded his hand youd have increased your stack nicely with no risk
2. If he had called you would have got your chips in good as your about a 2/1 favourite against A2.

again without reading up thm i would have wanted to see a flop with JJ especially with so little callers. As sonn as you get an over card then youd be an underdog so why lose money? Yo could also take the Doc's advice and live up..no raise pre-flop but i dont know the stack sizes. if i was less than 10x the big blind then of course. otherwise i would have seen the flop and played a bit after it.
