SICK SICK HAND - WHAT DO I DO????

Both players are regulars. UTG is Tight-Aggressive (stats 20/5/3.1), CO is a tricky Tight-Aggressive (27/12/2) and I look to stay away from him to be honest. The raise on the flop is sick

I'm pretty sure of UTG's range here, but what about Mr. Tricky?

I have $78 left.

Re: SICK SICK HAND - WHAT DO I DO????

Your big raise claims you completed your flush or at least has a set. Huge re-raise to me would indicate that he has two of {Qh, Jh, 10h and maybe 9h}. If indeed he is tight and doesn't have a history of bluffing i would definitely fold no matter how frustrating it may be.

Re: SICK SICK HAND - WHAT DO I DO????

I go through with this (and go all in). He might have a higher flush but if so then so be it and he could well have bottom set/maybe a lower flush here.

He is tight, however he IS tricky and I think he possibly can turn up with the naked Qh because he knows UTG can't have a heart from the call on the flop. With regards to what he thinks of me, thats the awkward part.

Welcome to TDP btw MIPTGilles, thanks for the comments

Username?

That is pretty sick there. Hard to really fold it though when its a raised pot and theres a lot in there already. Maybe if your flush was a real diddy one. 8 high isnt great but its not the worst either, if he indeed does have a flush he may well have a lower one.

Theres 6 likely starting hands (QJ, Q10, Q9, J10, J9, 109) that fit a higher flush and 4 that fit a lower one (65, 64, 54, 43) which isnt too bad odds of 6/4 at all. You said hes tight so he probly aint got 32s, 53s or 63s but if theres any chance of those in a range then that only increases your chances of having the better flush.

Also when it looks like UTG has a strong hand but one it really looks like youre beating (AA/KK/QQh? AK? AQ/AJ/A10 with a heart?) and may well be along for the ride I cant lay that down. Have to pay it off.

Morpheus1977 is the guy.

I think UTG raises with Qh so I put the guy strictly on AK or AQ no heart possibly. He has to raise sets as well

Re: SICK SICK HAND - WHAT DO I DO????

I recognise the name there scottie. I don't have too many hands for him but he's losing overall in my PT database. Including one big hand with KJo where he raised preflop OOP and them pushed all in on the flop with an open ended stright draw for twice the pot. He lost.

I think he could well have a pair with a higher flush draw here. I'd play it.

Re: SICK SICK HAND - WHAT DO I DO????

Yeh I'd be playing too scottie, wouldn't want to see any more hearts though. I think he's hit top pair or 2 pair, even a set. His big bet would suggest to me that he thinks you're drawing and he doesn't want any more cards out.

Re: SICK SICK HAND - WHAT DO I DO????

Yeah, I had to push this, but did fear what mid position had. I was certain I had UTG beat so:

Dealing Flop Ah 4h Kh ~ 20.50

Hero bets $17, UTG calls $17, MP1 folds, CO raises $68, BTN folds, Hero goes All-in $78, UTG goes All-in $97.93, CO calls $46.93

Dealing Turn Ah 4h Kh Jd

Dealing River Ah 4h Kh Jd 8c

UTG shows As Kc

CO shows 6h 3h

Winner is Hero $302.50

Winner is CO $39.86 (side pot)

Obviously he could have the bigger flush, however there are a lot of lower flushes. Thanks to all on this one, just wanted to make sure that this was a 100% push
