The call raise is an interesting one as its not that common a play compared to the check raise. Its far more likely imo that he has hit a hand rather than a straight or flush draw, probably two pair and he has decided to take it down now rather than let you draw to a hand,(even though you have an overpair). I would fold here.

I fold there I think, I think I'll see a set too often. Even if he has just top pair or a draw, you're not so sure of winning to risk that many chips.

I think I'd probably look to call that flop action and use my position on the turn, depending on the action.

OK, this one was tricky. I agree that guys can do the call/raise with sets/2 pairs, however I felt his range was more weighted towards straight draws, pair+straight draws, pair+flush draws and I was getting the right price towards these hands. It could be a fancy move with overs as well. So I called:

Villain goes All-in $43.05, Hero calls $34.05

I am sorry that ive just read the results before getting to post on this thread. Please dont think im just saying I would have called because I read the results. I had made up my mind before I saw them!

Anyway I call this.. This is a very draw heavy board plus it might just be a weirdly played 8 (although I doubt the latter). He might do this with a set but I dont think he would raise all in unless he was a good TAG. He would probably raise less trying to get you commited.
