Another Slack Out Of Position Hand - KJ
Villain is Loose-Neutral. Can raise a bit, limps a bit. BB is an aggro Tight-Aggressive.
Anyone not like the lead on the flop?
What's the best line on the turn?

Re: Another Slack Out Of Position Hand - KJ
I don't like playing hands like this OOP, so I would probably have folded pre-flop.
Great flop for you though, and ideal for a check-raise IMO. The BB will probably check to the raiser, who will probably bet at the flop. You can raise and will probably take it down there and then. If not, you've a good draw AND top pair.
As it is, you'll probably have to lead at this turn card or give up your hand.

Wouldn't generally play KJ OOP but 6 handed you can make a case for it. Nice flop bet. WIth two calls though I'm slowing down and maybe calling small turn and river bets if no scare cards come.

Thanks Doc/raisin so far for your comments.
Does anyone like to bet/fold the turn here?

I never like betting and folding, but I think it is your best option

Re: Another Slack Out Of Position Hand - KJ
Check call a hopefully small turn bet. Im not betting when theres a pretty decent chance im behind and it would have to be quite a decent sized bet too. Theres no flush draw on the flop so neither are drawing to that. One of them should have me beat and its no tragedy whatsoever to give a free card anyway in this spot if they dont cos ive got the draw anyway.
Id fold preflop though with this, id call if it was suited or if I was from the big blind.

Re: Another Slack Out Of Position Hand - KJ
I'd be throwing in a bet on the turn Scottie to find out where I'm at, if I get called then I'd be concerned but defo think it's worth putting in a good sized bet to see the river. I quite like KJ for some reason but it can get you in all sorts of trouble. I'm guessing you're behind to either 2 pair or a better kicker but would still be hoping to see the river, if I miss on the river then I'd be giving it up I think.

Re: Another Slack Out Of Position Hand - KJ
OK, well I decided to check, but looking back I'd probably bet around $10 and fold to any raise above minimum. The hand continued:
Dealing Turn Qs Td Kh 3h ~ 21
Hero checks, BB checks, Villain bets $14
We all fold now?

Re: Another Slack Out Of Position Hand - KJ
I'd call I think. An ace or a nine almost certainly locks the hand for you. If the villain is loose, he'll call often enough to justify the call in implied odds. It is also not impossible that he is in there with KJ also, or that he has something like KT, or QT, AQ, AK, AT etc where you have outs.

Re: Another Slack Out Of Position Hand - KJ
Hmm, I actually folded this on the turn due to the fact I felt possibly at least 4 of my outs may have been dirty. I was surprised to see both players call my flop bet so I decided to give it up unimproved.
I am thinking a bet/fold line on the turn may have been my best move.
