Could I have avoided this? Already been questioned about why I never raised preflop on this, well this guy was calling everything regardless of raises and already seen him calling all preflop raises with a lot worse than what he held on this occassion. My thinking was that I was trying to sneak in and catch him, unfortunately it was the complete opposite as it turned out. All comments on any parts of this hand please.

Re: Comments Please

I would fold the flop yen. A check raise off a weak player like you describe this guy to be is almost always a very strong hand. Especially a min checkraise. Theres a straight out there and he could very well have it. If you call the flop then just check that turn behind as he either has a full house now or the straight.

Re: Comments Please

Hi Yen_Sid

Firstly, I would raise pre-flop. KJ is a stronger hand 5max and the blinds MIGHT fold this sort of stuff (J7). As played, I call the raise on the flop, but I don't know against this guy I can check back the turn. Also, I fold river as played. As Jez pointed, this is T8/boat an awful lot of the time.
