I get that non-greyhound fans view the sport as a pikey infested, BENT, skidmarked waste of pishing time, that only exists to let high street bookies give the mugs 130% markets 50+ times a day... and to be fair at its grass roots level, its a bit common.

However some of us love it, so for the next hour, LIVE on the dailypunt... I will be posting my lays.

Been at it all day, my flatmates buggered off so I've nobody to talk to it about, he lost all of his money anyway. Its also a bit tragic to have two guys in their 20's, with a day off together, to sit around with laptops in their front room talking about greyhound form, so I'm happy going it alone tonight

For me and I suppose anybody that doesnt lose hand over fist at it, it took me watching alot of races, comparing form to those races, finding trends etc... having worked in a bookies for years I had the chance, forced upon me even

I've tried estimating how many dog races I've seen in my life, the number I came too was about 30,000 ive worked through but the number I've actually stopped working and watched would be about a thrid of that, mind boggling to look at but true

I've avoided racing at the don, romford and sheffield tonight, all are on betfair but barely saw anything to get confident about. I hate Sheffield as a track anyway, its a long circuit but unlike Nottingham or Hove the bends arent as kind ot fast dogs, most greyhounds tend to be one paced and at the yorkshire track most leading dogs have to change stride at the bends... lots of upsets..!

Just looking at the form again, more sloppiness from me I'm afraid, its form would read a hell of alot better if you discount its fall two races back, shouldve noticed that earlier on, didnt check pre race either... maybe need to cut back to 6 hours a day from 8 (!)

crazy isnt it, i was slowly up and down all day, i swear i had about 30 bets altogether, 3 lost, was doing just fine with my normal tenner stakes, had to show off with some £100 liabilities at the end.. arse..
