Re: Spacecats Greyhound Lays

Aye it dotted up quite nicely, watched it out the corner of my eye in the bar as we were leaving.

It's always the chance you take when you know the dogs got the speed to win a race, youre really just betting on it getting a knock early on.

Nevermind, if I could lay them all at 4/7 I'd be a very wealthy man

Re: Spacecats Greyhound Lays

Right folks, last day of Greyhound Lays and I've come up with a beezer.

This one is a bit different, as there alot more selections and they could go off at any prices, I basically going to risk £30 to get all of them beat I'm off tomorrow so it'll give me something to do. I wouldnt go weighing in on any of these Wet Sail as statically I should see at least one winner

With BetTrader I can set the liability of a bet, rather then the price and stake I want, so for the first 3 races I'll set it to £30, the next 3 £35 and up. If I set a dog to be laid to £30 then I'll be winning £15 if its 2/1 or £5 if its 6/1, the program will do the maths for me, which is good as some of these will be big prices, I might only be winning 2 or 3 quid from a 30 pound liability but it probably wont get that far!

£30 Liabilities..
HALL GREEN 12.32 T4
HALL GREEN 12.47 T5
HALL GREEN 1.04 T3

£35 Liabilities
HALL GREEN 1.19 T3
NEWCASTLE 2.03 T6
NEWCASTLE 3.17 T6

£40 Liabilities
OXFORD 5.47 T5
OXFORD 6.18 T5
SWINDON 6.28 T6

£50 Liabilities
SWINDON 7.01 T3
SUNDERLAND 7.43 T5
SWINDON 8.04 T3

I've withdrawn the money from my Betfair Account I've won so far and I'm down to £40 in there, so basically if any of these get beat I probably wont have enough in the account for BetTrader to lay the bets. Going for a clean sweep

Re: Spacecats Greyhound Lays

I hate betfair spacecat. I hate singles and i hate befair. strange as it may seem but i do like my perms and my doubles and trebles. Betfair doesnt offer me that. I dont have enough money (mostly) to enjoy my betfair betting.

Re: Spacecats Greyhound Lays

Every bet has won so far for me and all (but one, it drifted badly) have been in the top 2 in the betting, which was what we wanted.

Betfair does require a different mindset and even experienced punters can be overwhelmed. I've spoken to a couple of our heavy hitters in the bookies I work in why they dont trade on BF, the ones who had never heard of it before didnt belive me that you were getting about 30% better prices on the horses and footy, the ones who had heard of it said it was too complicated and prefered to have their winnings in cash instantly. BF is a fantastic system, I'd go as far as saying being able to back selections to lose has changed my life

I'm being honest there! Since they started letting us do doubles, trebles etc on the football I havent placed a bet anywhere else unless I'm trying to scam a free bet.

aye well your scottish football betting would have got you in good practice for this Spacecat (i couldnt resist )

It does sound intereting Spacecat but also very scary. I dont know if my mindset works that way as i do like to look for winners although maybe looking for non winners could be easier. Youve got my mind a racing a wee bit here trying to think. Maybe one day i will if my head wasnt so messed up with website building and being depressed. these are all the small outlets a man needs to survive in this crazy mixed up world. I still need a dirty woman though. Maybe i should pro actively seek a dirty woman. ive always had dirty women. I miss dirty women.

Heres hoping all your winners will be losers Spacecat

Re: Spacecats Greyhound Lays

fuck off! My scottish football bets arent as bad as they appear on this website! My performance in two tipping comps on other sites can vouch for that, the £1000 first prize one on the ICT page Im a mod on is exclusively scots 123 and I'm one of only 3 people in profit for the year. Or I was until I stopped playing it a couple of weeks ago (the guy who is winning is bloody miles ahead, he went through a spell of getting draws up every week for literally 2 months!)

There was a really interesting thread on the BF forum a while ago, where a lad who was well respected a sa decent punter posted up his P/L totals and it revealed to everybody that his single backing on football was losing him alot of money, so whats the obvious thing that he did? He reversed the nets.

It was probably the stand out football topic in my last 2-3 years online, was a fascinating read but so simple, he would go out and do hours of research into finding the top bets for a weekend, teams he would decide could win on the handicap, ht/ft etc... then he would lay them

He started to show a small profit over the next couple of months, he was hated by the mugs on the forum for jinxing the 'value' bets. He was a hero to everybody else.

Backing a loser is easier, which is why the odds arent always in your favor, but a return is a return. I'm totally confident I can pick 9 out of 10 losers the greyhounds, I just dont have the bankroll to make it pay these days. In 2006 I went a month of winning £100 a day from laying dogs, very simple bets too, had £210 in my account and went all in 2 or 3 times a day, was very nervy the first week but after that I didnt care, as the withdrawn money was starting to appear in my bank faster than I could spend it. I used to feel like a right high flyer 'calling my bookie' from the pub, when I called BF from the bookies it always made the other folk there think I was just doing it on a whim and didnt care about the money, when the truth is I was up most of the previous night reading the cards and was just waiting for the prices!

I want to do it again, probably need about £400 in my bank to play with, when I'm more settled in work then I will give it a go, BetTrader is the savior of my gambling life!

I'm not spamming for BetTrader btw, its free.

Theres not many girls o nthe BF forum komp, mayeb you should get yourself down a bingo hall or something
