Re: Spacecats Greyhound Lays
Cheers keggers, should be a few more selections over the next week, Monday especially should throw up a few runts for me.
With an average lay of £18 I can get 2 fiver bets wrong now and still be in my own money, so I'm pretty well set up after a crap weekend for greyhounds. |

Re: Spacecats Greyhound Lays
It is relatively easy to pick a loser in a dog race, its not so easy to trawl through 100 races a day or second guess the BF market. On this thread I'm trying to find losers that are likely to have some market support, so I dont have to be on the phone or online to make sure I'm being matched at a fair price!
Hope I can get a few more in tomorrow so the run goes into double figures ![]() |

Re: Spacecats Greyhound Lays
My greyhound tips are free now and emails contain less drivel.
http://www.unitedlays.co.uk - Spacecats tipping service from last year Think that could be converted into a footy tips site komp? I've got the "UnitedLays" domain for another 3 and a half years I think.. you think anyone would got for laying football teams? Might be a bit much for the neanderthals who need a tipping service |

Re: Spacecats Greyhound Lays
MONNERS 11.51 T6 .. LAY £10 .. Strange one, it seems to have run on strongly in its last race, but this is a fair upgrade and otherwise I wouldve said it was p1sh, theres nothing outstanding in its record since it came to Monmore. The RP have tipped it and anything they are 'in the know' about usually never makes it into the website.
Just checked the race on the 14th it did well to get into 2nd but couldnt win, there was crowding on the third bend that knocked 2 others out, which is extremely rare! I'm confident that if those two runners avoided trouble the selection here would not have been 2nd that day. SHOCKING! Easter Monday eh? Can only find one selection that might go off at a decent price. Can see half a dozen other possible bets but they could all go off at any price, maybe Fav, maybe 10/1 Nevermind, that one will do, I'm interested to see its race, its obviously a wide tracker as it avoided trouble last time out, it isnt fast enough though, it'll need trouble ahead of it to win (and then it'll need to avoid it). |

Re: Spacecats Greyhound Lays
youll be the one that pushed it out from 3.8 to 5.6 by the time I got my bet on then! You pushed my average liability up!If you saw the race youll see how it ran, I can see why it did well in the previous trouble I mentioned above. It trapped in last place and went well wide round the first two bends avoiding all the scuffles but letting the leaders get clear, was 4-5 yards off the pace on the shoulder of the pack from there and wouldve been in with a chnce if it stayed wide. From nowhere down the back straight it cut into the inside though, right up the arse of the dogs now dead infront of it, knocking out its chances, as it appeared to have no turbo to fall upon when the going got tough. It mustve gone inside in its last eace and caused the trouble last time out as today, hence why I said it was rare to see trouble at that bend, it was because the lay today follows an unusual racing line! Its a one paced dog thats likely to find trouble at either end, I'm expecting it to get a downgrade after that performance, which should give it a fair price to lay next time out too, so I'll keep an eye out for it. ________ MONMORE T6 LAY £10. LOST @ 5.6 Daily Total after commission: +9.5 Overall Total: £52.25 Average Liability to £5 stake: £19.60 Strike rate: 100% |

Re: Spacecats Greyhound Lays
What a sack of fucking bullshit tomorrows racing is. The graders have got it all about spot on. Youve no idea how frustrating this is for me having to restrict so heavily the range of runners I can take bets on, remember we need runners that will go off at a sensible price as they bets are going to be laid automatically by BetTraderPRo just before the off.
PERRY BARR 1.12 T5 LAY £10 - the sick thing about this one is that I dont actually rate it as having no chance at all, I can just tell it needs a clear run and I'm confident I'll get value odds against it. It may well be my first winner, it'll take a race like this 1 time in 8 I think, so I should be getting value odds on the lay. It needs 3 runners to have an off day, the problem is that 3 runners can go head on into each other at the first bend and then all bets are off on the 5. I'll have a quick look for others, the problem is of course theres no market to reference while looking over the bets and theres 2 500m+ races on tomorrow, I only ever bet 4 bends sub 480m. |

Re: Spacecats Greyhound Lays
Another big drifter, my automated program ended up laying it at 8.3! What a nightmare, I checked the price 7 minutes before the off and we were 4.6, which wouldve been fair.
Nevermind though, I picked it so it was another obvious loser and didnt get a sniff all the way round. _________________ PERRY BARR 1.12 T5 LAY £10. LOST @ 8.3 Daily Total after commission: +9.5 Overall Total: £61.75 Average Liability to £5 stake: £21.10 Strike rate: 100% |

Re: Spacecats Greyhound Lays
Theres plenty of decent laying opportunities over the cards tomorrow, so I think after that we'll just wind the thread up, 6 days is long enough for me to be giving away tips on markets with bugger all liquidity!

Re: Spacecats Greyhound Lays
Well I know last time out it had a blistering time at the track, but then it had space to stretch its legs all the way round as it was in the 1 box and had the rail to itself, it went round in a handy position and easily held it off.
Its other runs where it isnt on the bunny have been less impressive, I think with the 1 dog tonight being a decent trapper and a strong middle runner, Primitive Way is going to have to take a middle course to get anything out of the race, which should lead to disaster. Its the kind of dog I would lay, but be warned, it has the legs to win this one and we need a race run to suit to get it beat, I'd say theres more chance of that tonight than the dog plotting up on its own. Also with these SKY meetings the price will fall not long before the race as the mugs get wired into the price, so I'd hold of any bets until then, if you do lay it that is.. I've not thought much about the Sky races tonight as I'm going out for dinner later and I know I wont be around to catch them. I'll have a look and see if I can find anything worth backing at a price. |
