Re: Shell Houston Open

Our Marking Your Card feature is well worth a look. I'm sure it will sway this weeks selections for some of you. We also have a full pre event previre and a feature around the full Masters 09 field.

Best Wishes

Re: Shell Houston Open

Im straight back in with Kevin Na,if only he didnt shoot 76 in the 3rd round,he still battled back to hit the lowest score on the final day with a 66.

Justin Leonard @ 3.00 sticks out in the 3 balls against Mickleson and Howell, hes a regular in this event and here are the opening round scores hes had with the most recent left 68,67,73,71,when he shot 67 in 2007 he missed six consecutive cuts previous.

Mickleson has played this event once last year hes first round score was 72 followed by a 68 71 71

Im not dismissing Mickleson, but with Leonards ability to shoot low here and his experience of the course might just even things out here,so im thinking the bookies have this one wrong.

oh one more thing, either player has played in the last two tour events.

Re: Shell Houston Open

Basher - We definitely think you're on the right lines with Na. Our Shell Houston preview, tips and predictions are published. Worth reading our Marking Your Card feature as well before taking the final plunge.

Briefing as below:

Tips
Appleby - 40s - His record is second to none here.
Stricker - 20s - Keeps knocking week on week. The door will open, decent record here.
Campbell - 45s - Stan James - Yee ha! Local boy, loves the course, game suits and in good form.
JM Singh - 80/1 at Paddy Power and SkyBet? Two year golf education in Texas, course experience Long, great short game. SNAP IT UP!

T10
Bob Estes 15/2 - You can't argue with the local boy around here.
Kevin Sutherland 10s - Likes the track and we liked his hugely impressive final round 65 at Transitions.

Stat Predictor Picks - Top 3 of 10
Stricker
Na
Hoffman

The very best of luck to everybody.

Re: Shell Houston Open

Nasty event
Couldnt bet Stricker unless it was to lay off
Bottler, his swing goes and cant hit a fairway when in the lead, 3 times had the lead this year back 9 last round and not won yet
