Tigers Back

Tiger is back in the mix after an enforced 8 month layoff and he still retains his number one position. Although he has allowed them to play catchup. The problem for the rest is he was so good playing on one leg what will he be like with two? Well the fact that his swing platform is now balanced ie he isnt protecting one side in favour of the other should improve his driving stats. This has been an area of his game where he frequently was hitting 50% fairways in regulation, so with that improving the rest better up their games. The contenders : -

Phil Mickleson - Still a bit flaky but if can ditch Butch Harmon quick, his coach. he may get back to letting it rip and give tiger a run
Ernie Els - Since injuring his knee in outdoor pursuits his putting stroke has looked less than ideal.
Sergio Garcio- Another useless putter under pressure

I dont see a threat really to Tiger, the rest will win the odd major because you cant win them all but he will win the majority. Wait a few months and the rest of the players will be wishing they hadnt seen him back just so quickly.

Happy Golfing
