Re: The Seniors British Open Championship
Watson has won 3 of the last 4 Senior Opens. Dont think there is much reason not to see him winning this again, especially given his love for links golf. Best value by far is Tom Kite at 80/1. Never out of the top 10 over the past 4 years, has form at Troon in the main Open Championship, and warmed up with a nice 65 in the last Rd of the 3M Championship last week, when he finished 6th.
Comes from Texas, so wind no problem for him, and has a real liking for the links. Only thing against him is his lack of wins over the past 3 years. But he has a great shout this week, and the price is all wrong |

Win - Surely Beanie is referring to your golfing skills being worthy of a place in the Senior Open?

Re: The Seniors British Open Championship
I'm amazed you can get about 1.67 for your money by covering the 3 class acts near the top of the leaderboard.
One of Watson, Langer or Romero would win this about 3 times out of 4 IMO, which makes the prices look outstanding. All just 2 off the lead, only 2 players ahead of them, and so much more experience and ability than any of the others around them that I am convinced one will take the prize. Not going to complicate things by judging the winner between the 3, just level profit on the 3. Cover the 3 as below for combined odds of 1.67: 2pts Langer @ 3.95 1.4pts Watson @ 5.5 1.18pts Romero @ 6.8 |
