Re: Alfred Dunhill Championship
A little nibble to start with on a player I would much rather be on than Els...same score(-5), different price(18s compared to 2.50)...
1pt Titch Moore @ 18.00 Would take McGowan but liquidity on him is low - would want about 38.00 which isn't available and I cant stay up till the off(4.30am) to wait for it...fingers crossed he doesnt fire a low one. |

Re: Alfred Dunhill Championship
He's been threatening it for a while, and big Ernie Els finally had the chance to show just how bad his mental game is these days down the 18th of the Alfred Dunhill.Led by 4 with 4 to play, and by two at the last, just needing to take a bogey 6 to win. Drive is good, 2nd shot is good, meaning just a chip onto the green and 3 putt will do the trick. Cue hacking the easy iron shot into the water, doing exactly the same again, before missing a 5 footer to force a playoff, finishing with a triple bogey 8 to tie for 2nd place. He's been blowing good rounds and good positions for months now - today was the pinnacle after reaching 1.01 on Betfair...just goes to show how mental a game golf is! |
