Re: Golf This Week(HSBC Matchplay, Frys.com, Madrid Open)

Casey just traded @ 100's...for a tenner...but shit ...I wish I was that fast to get that nutters cash.
Cabrera looks all over this one, so glad I only got a wee bit on Casey , BUT...laying Cabrera @ 1.05/6/7?...I can't leave it alone...in for a bit of action!

well, that's me...mate's got stuff to do...left with a wee bet on Casey @ 3.00...got the rest back and a tiny bit of profit...jeez you got to go in LARGE at these odds...not my scene, Doreen.
Well done Beanie, old boy..looks good to go on the Arge Master.

As for the other matches, Stenson and Els are lording it...while Mahan is till out in front. Certainly Els looks winning material, while Mahan may yet shock. My concern will be the 5th and 6th rounds tomorrow in only 3 days...tough to keep the momentum going...so possibly be getting after Mahan if he stays on course, and also Cabrera...Stenny @ 5.2 is tasty...yep..will take a little of that before I hit the sack

1/2 today with Hansen getting well stuffed by Mahan. Cabrera won handy though and the 10/1 I got at the start looks quite tasty now. Think i'm correct in saying he's up against Mahan next. Should be a good game with both players on form. Actually both semis should be crackers with Stenson and Els tough to call as well. Might just sit out the semis and cheer on Cabrera.

PS were you on speed this afternoon fasteddy? That was quite a prolific burst of posting.

Jesus thought my John Daly pick was dead in the water after yesterdays round of +3 but he's having a dream round today. -9 today and -6 overall with the final hole left to play. Since hole 9 he's got 7 birdies and an eagle! Great stuff Big Johnny!

Just that type of player eh Chief - go on John

HSBC - might do likewise and sit out the semis given the outright bets - Stenson looks to have been magnificent yesterday and could cause Ernie some big problems, Cabrera top quality again but he too up against the surprising Mahan...2 good semis.

Other tournies are warming up nicely but will give them 1 more round to thin the fields a bit more. Fry's.com looks like more pitch and putt stuff in the US - -8 and -9 all over the place and makes it tricky to get a read on.

Time for a change of heart...

Lay Els @ 2.98
Back Stenson @ 4.20

Outrights

Basically shift my profit on Els to Stenson, and increase profit on Cabrera...Stenson is playing really steady stuff(1 up already) and is a proven matchplayer - Els has had trouble closing rounds out recently and I'm not convinced he can hold off a dogged competitor here.

SA v Arg as in the rugby it is then...Cabrera has played the better of the two and even though Els has proved himself to be a supreme matchplayer this week, I'll stick with Cabrera as he looks a bit long here(2.22) - will just let the outright punts ride instead of getting involved in the match odds.
