Oh he was firing bets at every pot. He'd pushed me out of a few pots and I was getting frustrated. In that hand i'd pretty much decided he had nothing and when the third 2 showed up I was convinced I had him beat and just wanted to take the pot down there. I didn't think a pot sized bet would shift him.

Last night I played in a 40FP freeroll @ Pokerstars. Lord knows why. There were about 500 entrants. The first 4 places earned entry into a nice $ tourney, 5-14 returned your 40FPs. I started playing with one eye on the cricket but kept getting nice hands and winning pots so I gradually got drawn into it. Nearly 4 hours had passed and I was sitting pretty in 10th position, with only 40 odd players remaining. All I had to do was hang around for another 20-30 minutes and I would have been in a great position to have a shot at the top 4 satellite positions...

Of course, things went horribly wrong. I was the BB and was dealt 88. I was chatting to a bunch of people online at the same time and had all sorts of windows open. The SB before me (who happened to have a similar sized stack) went all in. I mindlessly clicked call but I was actually trying to close a chat window that had just popped up. When I saw that he was holding K6os I thought, well this might be a gift from the heavens! Of course he flopped a K and that was the end of that. The whole table were calling the guy a 'donk' and I agreed... but in the end, I was the real donk!
