Roullette

Sorry never knew where to put this. Thought id start here.

I know this is a load of shit but could someone tell me where the shit is as i dont understand it all.

Quote:

Roulette is considered t be one of the most popular casino games in the world. It tends to draw players from all types of backgrounds. Being a relatively simple game to understand while offering a diverse range of betting options and payout outcomes is what makes Roulette such a big hit with the players. Roulette is also considered to be one of the casino's biggest money makers because it tends to place the odds in favor of the casino. Whether one is placing bets on an American Roulette Wheel which has 38 numbers (0, 00, 1-36), or on a European Roulette Wheel which has 37 numbers (0, 1-36), the odds are usually in favor of the casino, especially if one places bets such as a straight up bet (a bet covering one single number) or a split bet (a bet covering two numbers). Of course there are other types of bets which will increase the odds in the player's favor such as a dozen bet (a bet covering twelve numbers), or an odd or even bet (a bet covering eighteen numbers), but covering eighteen numbers out of a possible 37 or 38 still places the odds in favor of the casino.

Having tried many different betting systems, I finally found one that places the odds in favor of the player, is very simple to understand and does not carry a large degree of risk as far as losing one's money is concerned. If the aim of the player is to cover as many outcomes as possible while increasing the chances of winning, then this may be one Roulette system that is worth a try. Being a low risk system, the payout from a win is only 3 to 1, but the odds are 63.16% in favor of the player in an American Roulette game and 64.86% in favor of the player in a European Roulette game.

The logic of the system is as follows: By placing two Dozen bets of equal amounts, the player is essentially covering 24 numbers which is over 60% of the total numbers on the wheel. The chances of losing the bet are between 35.13 % and 36.84% which is far lower than a Column bet or Colored bet. If the winning number falls in one of the two Dozen bets, then the player will receive three credits for the two credits wagered.

For example, let us assume that you have placed a bet of $10 on the numbers 13 - 24 and another $10 bet on the numbers 25 - 36. Now you have covered over 60% of all the numbers and if you win, you will be ahead by $10. As mentioned earlier, the returns may not be high (depending on how much money is wagered), but the chances of winning each bet tend to be higher than usual.

Roulette is a great game komp! I play it many times! You stake on numbers or colours!

For examble:

10 pts to red.
After your stake the ball is rolling into a "plate". If the ball is rolling out
and the ball is on a red number you won!

thats the possible methods of staking:

Re: Roullette

feel free Rene and thanks. I play it but i dont want to as i go daft as i play it ina kind of 'martingale system' and double up on red and odds and evens and stupid stuff like that. I start believing that things are 'due' etc but a run of about 9 of the same (black or red or odd or even) and im cleaned out

I cant see how you can have a system truth be told Rene and im amazed that people do have them. More amazed than me losing a weeks winnings in 2 minutes

I dont even watch the screen i shut my eyes and wait for the noise

12 P -> first dozen
12 M -> middle of field dozen

If you win,the bank have to pay the double stake. The chance to win with the dozen punt is 12/37 ( 32,4 % )

Re: Roullette

If we assume it is European Roulette, then you get paid 35/1 for your number coming up.

if you cover 24/36 numbers, then you can expect to win 24/37% of the time (the extra time being the zero when the house wins).

Play 1000 times and you would expect to win 649 and lose 351

When you win you get 35 times your unit stake on the winning number and lose 23 times the stake on all the losing numbers, i.e. your profit on these occasions is 12 times your unit stake

when you lose you lose all 24 unit stakes.

Doing the sums:

649*12-351*24=-636 units

you will have staked 24 units, 1000 times, so 24,000 in total

your loss is 2.65%

in fact it is slightly higher than this - just over 2.7% as I have rounded the figures above.

Re: Roullette

Also you can punt on:

Colours:
Rouge - red -> all red numbers
Noir - black -> all black numbers

Numbers I:
Pair - even numbers
impair - uneven numbers

Numbers II:
manque - the numbers from 1 till 18
Passe - the numbers from 19 - 36

And thats the kettle - the matchfield of Roullette:

Re: Roullette

There is/are no bets, no combinations of bets, no series of bets that can ever yield a positive return. It is a game of independent trials - previous results do not affect future results. Look up the world records, I think the same number has been spun in 9 times in a row or something stupid.
The only ways to beat roulette are -

The wheel to have a bias and you to know this and exploit it.

Capping bets, ie palming more cash onto winning bets etc.

Using devices to predict where the ball will land, people have done this and been caught.

Basically the only way to win is cheating.

If you wanna study a casino game you can actually beat legally with skill have a look at blackjack.

www.wizardofodds.com is the best gambling site on the net I think. It'll tell you all you need to know.
