Cheers for all the input chaps. Im gonna read up on it a bit but like i thought and as Doc and Alien have pointed out i dont know if its worth it as it seems to be a game of chance. The only way i can think of winning would be to be in a casino and bet opposite of the board from the big bets as i remember my pal who was a croupier when we was younger saying that he could make the ball land on the other side of the board from the big wins. Or something

Now, curiously I haven't opened this thread before but at around 3am today I tried something similar to what's prescribed in the first post (I even put it up on the Punter's Lounge) with the £15 given to me from Blue Square (y'know from doing the survey).

I never lost but I didn't win too much either (had a high of £27 and a low of £19). Eventually took £24 out.

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree that in order to win consistently big on roulette, you probably do have to cheat (or be touched by God and given a whole load of luck).

A good book to read is "13 against the bank" by Norman Leigh. Story is set in London and the South of France in the 60's, I'm convinced by the story but you will have to make your own mind up.
