Well i finally won my first MTT. £20 buy in, never ventured this high before stakeswise. Figured we needed one of these threads as everywhere else has them. Need the dancing cow emoticon!!

Didn't quite manage the win, but don't play many MTTs these days so happy with 3rd place in $5 Turbo rebuy for $123.50. Didn't rebuy, just the add on at the break, so a nice start to the week.

Every 5 minutes, with the add on break after 30 minutes. The thing about Turbo tournaments is that people start to panic and put their chips in with really bad hands, so if you play really tight then you always have a good chance.

Nothing to really brag about in a way. But it is to me as i havent played poker seriously in around 2-3 months to be honest. Not sure exactly why i have stopped, or had stopped, but i still watched it on tv etc everyday.

So i thought fuck it, im away tomorow so im going to give it a bash again. Entered a little MTT to see how i would done and im pretty happy, came out first

This evening I took the trouble to enter a 438 person MTT, and despite being chip leader for much of the 3 hours and 15 minutes play(One horrendous beat to 3rd chappie, and then playing catchup) I managed a wonderful 41st place finish, with lovely cash prizes to the first 40 lucky contestants.

I'm going to bed.

Its not that much but it aint bad for about 60p. Thought id give a tournie a go as I hadnt played one for a while so thought I aint spending much and I havnt realy played much PL holdem. After 3 hours I was determined to get at least something.

Tournaments are fun, but not if you play them regularly as it can be annoying as fook going 4 hours to just miss out on the cash.
