Re: Bragging Rights

Im putting this one up cos it took so bloody long!!!!!

4 hours 12 minutes for that - but atleast I've got some money to play with on 32Red now.

Not gonna enter that again though - $4 for the guy who after 3 and a half hours got to the final table.

Re: Bragging Rights

Not bad for a freerolll. Well done

I was in this myself but missed the first half hour as i forgot about it. Ended up short stacked and just going for it rather than hovering around and was caught short.

Re: Bragging Rights

Lovely Kiko. Well done mate. It takes more skill than luck to come in 2nd out of 400.

Re: Bragging Rights

Thanks.
Only just used the 3.30$ even though there is unlimited rebuy the first hour.. My lowest stack was 1480.. Start was 1500.. Doubled pretty fast with high pair/ highest kicker.
And i got 15000 at the first break.. Where i could add on.. But avr chip stack was 4500 so deceided to drop it..

So yes monster pay out compared to buy in...

First Live Tourney

Played in my first ever live tourney tonight. Against 45 people at my uni poker society. Never played with more than 5 other people before.

I won!!!!!

It was a £10 freezeout. Lasted nearly 6 hours. Was all in a couple of times on the final table but never had to showdown, everyone folded and I stole quite a lot of money with check re-raise bluffs when I knew the player was limping to try to see a flop.

I put out the guy in third with A4 v A5 when the 4 hit in the river, but I was a huge stack compared to his anyway. At 14 people I was short stacked and went all in preflop with A5 suited, got called with AK, hit my diamond flush, that was the only time my whole stack was at risk.

1st prize: £170

Definitely going back to that society .

Re: Bragging Rights

Nice going there man

Still want to give some live play a bash as i am still to try it out. Although i don't think i would be able to keep still if i was dealt AA and would probablyjump up and start dancing before any play

Re: Bragging Rights

Well done Raisin Man.

I prefer live play if I'm honest. I think it is easier to read people - but then again I guess that makes me easier to read too. My 'live play' persona is a right moody sod too.
